i called her YaYi...it's from Mbah Yi, it's means Granny in English and Grootmoeder in Dutch. she was well speaking dutch, she lived in a year when my country colonized by the dutch. she was school in the dutch school but finaly get married with Indonesian soldier, my Mbah Kung :')
she was 84 years old in this year, still healty year by year unless she become senile in past 6 years. she more remembered the past long old memoriez bettern than what the 10 minute ago she was doin, sometime i'm feel so pity, but sometimes it feels so funny, that she like become a girl in her old past year :) in 6 past years what she storied to me is all about the dutch things. how she used to be a student in dutch school, how to speak dutch languange, and how to sing dutch song...
a couple weeks a go she got injured in her leg, he had to get spinal surgery. she became better and better after the surgery, there's no other complication after that, all did smoothly. my mom take care of her when she was in hospital, when my mom think that she's fine and ready to go home, my mom left her to the others son and daughter of her to take care of her. my mom, i called her Umi, Upi and Zio finnaly go to my house as their promises 1 month before. and when they are still in the way to Tangerang the family called and said that our YaYi is passed away... in peace...when she's already healty from her pain...her last surgery... Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun....
